The London International Ska Festival postponed

It is with heavy heart that I have to announce that this years London International Ska Festival is postponed due to insurmountable post-lockdown and artist issues.

The new dates are Easter weekend - 6th - 9th April 2023, which will be our 35th anniversary edition! As previously announced, this will be the last London International Ska Festival.
The majority of the artists and DJs from this year are being moved to our 2023 edition. We will also be adding in many of the artists that have provided us with highlights from the last 35 years and be returning to some of your favourite and iconic London venues.
All 2020-2022 tickets will be valid. Please email [email protected] to be issued with new tickets.
Refunds are also available but will take sometime to work through. Again please email [email protected] to request a refund.
I would like to apologise wholeheartedly for any disappointment caused by the rescheduling. I know a lot of people, me included, were very much looking forward to this years festival.
I do hope you will stick with the festival and join us for what is guaranteed to be a very special event, fitting for our last celebration.

Important announcement regarding this years festival…
Following it’s 2 year enforced hiatus and the ongoing climate for live events it has not been easy to bring the festival back. There are many more hurdles then before to navigate though, and sadly we have had to restructure the festival, with (for various reasons including financial restrictions, ill health and rescheduled dates clashing) has meant that Misty In Roots, Pama International, Roger Rivas, Roddy Radiation and Susan Cadogan can no longer play LISF2022. We have already rescheduled 3 of these artists for LISF2023 and hope to do with the rest.
On a positive note this year’s festival see’s people flying in from a staggering 26 countries (!). It is being housed in Hackney’s beautiful EartH venue and on our world famous Dixie Queen paddle steamer cruise.
In addition to the headliners mentioned above we have; USA’s hottest new acts - The Bandulus and The Loving Paupers, both of whom were included in ‘Best of 2021’ lists on BBC 6 music by Craig Charles and Don Letts respectively, Marla Brown (daughter of Dennis Brown), Aleighcia Scott (who now hosts BBC Wales first Reggae show), the gorgeous all valve/hand built sound system - Phil Bush’s Sounds & Pressure lo-fi event, plus the finest DJs from around the world including 2 Tone Records/The Specials founder Jerry Dammers DJing on the Dixie Queen Thames cruise, along with The Pioneers! And many more!
Full line up / running times and tickets can be found at www.londoninternationalskafestival.co.uk
